Abstract
Objective To investigate the traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)constitution types of patients with stage IV primary lung cancer.Methods A total of 683 hospitalized patients with stage IV lung cancer at the Oncology Department of First Teaching Hospital of Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January 2021 to December 2022 were selected as research subjects,and their physical constitutions were identified using the Traditional Chinese Medicine Physical Classification and Judgment Table for statistical analysis.Results Among the 683 cases of lung cancer patients,single constitution was more common.Yin deficiency,qi deficiency,and yang deficiency were more prevalent in males,while qi stagnation,qi deficiency,and yin deficiency were more common in females.There are two types of biased constitutions.Overall,yin deficiency,qi deficiency,and qi stagnation are more prevalent.The strong associations that also contain constitutional rules include qi-yang deficiency,qi-stagnation and blood-stasis.The proportion of qi stagnation constitution and complex constitutions is higher in females.Conclusion Yin deficiency,qi deficiency and qi stagnation are the main constitutional types among stage IV lung cancer patients.Single constitution is more common than complex constitution;additionally there is a higher proportion of middle-aged women with qi stagnation or complex constitution.关键词
