摘要
Abstract
The global rise in diabetes prevalence has led to an increased risk of diabetic nephropathy(DN),a major lethal microvascular complication characterized by complex pathogenesis.Although current therapies alleviate symptoms through glycemic control and albuminuria reduction,they fail to halt disease progression,with most patients eventually developing end-stage renal disease.Recent studies highlight the therapeutic potential of extracellular vesicles(EVs)in DN management.Functioning as intercellular communicators,EVs carry bioactive components such as nucleic acids and proteins that critically regulate pathological processes.This review systematically examines emerging mechanisms by which EVs mitigate renal fibrosis and suppress inflammatory responses,while evaluating their clinical translation prospects for developing targeted therapeutic strategies against DN.关键词
