Application of M-Learning-LCPT-TDPC teaching mode in Practical Military Pharmacology Course

Abstract

Objective To explore the effectiveness of the M-Learning-LCPT-TDPC mobile-combining mobile learning,learner-centered participation,and a theory drill-practice cycle-in the Practical Military Pharmacology Course.Methods A total of 48 students majoring in pharmacy in Grade 2021 and Grade 2022 were selected.The Grade 2021 served as the control group and received traditional lecture-based instruction,while the Grade 2022 served as the intervention group,and was taught using the M-Learning-LCPT-TDPC model.Differences in academic performance and teaching evaluation between the two groups were compared.Results The formative assessments,summative assessments and total score of students in the intervention group were higher than those in the control group,and the total score of students'teaching evaluation was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).There was a significant difference in the scores of peer evaluation before and after the implementation of the new teaching model(P<0.05).Conclusions The M-Learning-LCPT-TDPC teaching model improves students'academic performance and teaching satisfaction,demonstrating positive value in cultivating students'comprehensive competencies.
