摘要

Abstract

Objective To explore the application effect of jigsaw teaching method in the teaching of rural medical students majoring in clinical medicine.Methods In May 2024,two rural medical classes of Grade 2021 clinical majors in Changchun Medical College were selected by a cluster sampling method.One class was assigned as the experimental group(n=50),while the other class was regarded as the control group(n=50).The traditional teaching method was used in the control group,and the Jigsaw teaching method was used in the experimental group.After completing the Internal Medicine course,the academic performance and critical thinking skills of the two groups were compared.Results At the end of the course,the test scores of the experimental group were higher than those of the control group(P<0.05).The scores of the experimental group on the scale of critical thinking ability were higher than those of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusions The Jigsaw teaching method effectively enhances the learning engagement of rural medical students,improves their critical thinking ability and test scores,and it is highly recognized by students,which is worthy of popularization and application in the teaching of clinical rural medical students.
