Exploration of interdisciplinary talent development model in Nursing+Engineering for vocational associate-to-bachelor's programs

Abstract
With the increasing emphasis on interdisciplinary integration between medicine and engineering,the nursing profession faces both challenges and opportunities.In response to evolving market demands,there is an urgent need to cultivate nursing professionals equipped with interdisciplinary knowledge and skills.The increasing enrollment in associate-to-bachelor nursing programs has further highlighted the necessity for educational innovation.This paper systematically reviews the international evolution of"nursing-engineering"education,including its developmental trajectory,structural characteristics,and relevant implications.It further examines the current status of interdisciplinary education in China,highlighting key issues within the context of nursing-engineering integration and the existing limitations of associate-to-bachelor programs.Based on this analysis,the paper proposes targeted recommendations,including the establishment of clearly defined training objectives,the development of integrated curricula and diversified assessment systems,and the incorporation of advanced educational resources and practice platforms.These recommendations provide a theoretical and practical foundation for cultivating interdisciplinary nursing-engineering talents at the associate-to-bachelor level in China.关键词
