Qualitative systematic review of the effectiveness of eHealth literacy interventions
摘要
Abstract
Objective To systematically review the effectiveness of eHealth literacy interventions for all populations, providing references for improving eHealth literacy and promoting healthy lives across different groups. Methods Randomized controlled trials(RCTs)on eHealth literacy interventions were retrieved from PubMed,Web of Science,SinoMed,CNKI,Wanfang, and VIP databases(January 1,2006-May 30,2024).The Cochrane Risk of Bias tool was used to assess literature quality.Key data(participants, interventions, outcomes)were extracted for qualitative analysis. Results Eleven articles were included.Cochrane risk of bias assessment indicated all studies were Grade B.Results demonstrated diverse participant populations. For both general populations(e.g.,college students, women)and clinical groups[e.g.,human immunodeficiency virus(HIV)carriers, cardiovascular patients],eHealth literacy interventions using web-based training or specialized health applications(APP)/websites effectively improved participants'eHealth literacy. Conclusion Web-based training or specialized health APP/website interventions show positive effects across diverse populations. However, current interventional literature on eHealth literacy remains exploratory, often lacking theoretical guidance.Measurement tools of eHealth literacy are predominantly sub-jective with limited accuracy.Consequently, future studies should develop eHealth literacy theories and measurement tools, creating tailored interventions to enhance eHealth literacy and self-health management capabilities across different groups.关键词
