Species and Population Dynamics of Fruit Borers in Orchards of Prunus salicina Lindl. cv 'Kongxinli'
摘要
Abstract
[Objective]The species and population dynamics of fruit borers in the orchard of Prunus salicina Lindl.cv 'Kongxinli' in Yanhe County were studied,and the effects of temperature and rainfall on the occurrence of fruit borers were analyzed,which provided references for accurate and effective control of fruit borers in Kongxinli.[Method]The main species of borers and the population dynamics of adults in the field were surveyed using borer sex pheromone traps in Kongxinli orchards of Yanhe.The effects of monthly average temperature and rainfall on adult occurrence were analyzed.[Result]In Kongxinli orchards of Yanhe,Grapholita molesta,Grapholita funebrana,Carposina sasakii and Conogethes punctiferalis were successfully trapped.Among these,G. molesta and G.funebrana showed the highest number of adults trapped,with peak proportions reaching 59.27%and 54.57%respectively.Applying mating disruption techniques for G. molesta effectively reduced its number of adults trapped.The peak occurrence periods for G. molesta were observed from June to August,showing three distinct population peaks with generation overlap.Similarly,G. funebrana also exhibited three primary population peaks during June-August.Both C.sasakii and C. punctiferalis demonstrated lower trapping numbers,with their adult emergence peaks concentrated in July-August.The peak periods for occurrence of these fruit borers showed average temperatures ranging from 22.2 to 30.3 ℃.Rainfall with suitable temperature enhanced the occurrence of adult fruit borers.[Conclusion]In Kongxinli orchards of Yanhe,the dominant fruit borer species were G. molesta and G. funebrana,with their peak occurrence periods concentrated from June to August.Heavy summer rainfall promotes adult emergence.关键词
