Abstract

To explore the relationship between nutrient supply-demand and mango stem end rot disease in mango orchards,the Jinhuang mango orchards suffered from mango stem rot disease were selected for this study in Lurong Town,Guizhou Province.Soil and leaf nutrient evaluations were carried out.Their correlations between soil and leaf macronutrients and trace elements were analyzed.The correlation analysis of mineral nutrients and trace elements in soil and leaves was also car-ried out.The results showed that the soil of the mango orchard suffered from stem end rot disease presented weakly acidic,with low organic matter content,low nitrogen content in the soil,and medium levels of total phosphorus,available phospho-rus,total potassium,and available potassium.The soil had abundant available iron and manganese in the mango orchards.The copper and zinc contents were at medium to upper levels,while exchangeable calcium and magnesium contents were at medium levels.However,there was a relative deficiency of available boron in the soil.Overall,the soil contained relatively abundant trace elements.The leaf nutrient contents of mango plants suffered from the disease had low coefficient of variation,ranging from 6.53 to 18.93.The coefficient of variation of trace element contents in the leaves of mango plants suffered from the disease ranged from 4.91 to 15.02.The potassium and manganese contents in the leaves were less affected by soil nutri-ent contents,while other mineral nutrient elements and trace elements were significantly affected by soil nutrients.
