The Effects of Different Cultivation Densities and Growth Periods on the Sweetpotato Variety Luosushu18

Abstract
With the development of society,the commercial potato yield of sweet potatoes has become one of the important factors affecting the cultivation income of sweet potatoes.In order to further explore the new cultivation techniques of fresh sweet potatoes in the central and southern regions,the experiment took the new fresh sweet potato variety Luosushu 18 as the research object,and designed a Latin square experiment with cultivation density and growth period as the research factors.The results showeel that the fresh potato yield increases with the growth period and density.When the growth period reaches 130 days and the cultivation density reaches 5 000/667 m2 plants,the increase in fresh potato yield was not significant.The commodity potato yield reached its maximum value at 130 days.The number of tubers per plant was not related to cultivation density and growth period.In the production of fresh sweet potatoes,it was necessary to increase the cultivation density and control the growth period appropriately,which is beneficial for improving profits.For Luosushu 18,the suitable cultivation density is 5 000/667 m2 plants,with a growth time of about 130 days.关键词
