摘要

Abstract

To ensure the efficient and safe operation of oil and gaspipelines,two sets of X80 grade steel pipes with dimensions Φ1 219 mm×27.5 mm were welded using either the automatic gas metal arc welding(GMAW)process or the combined automatic welding process(GTAW+FCAW-G),respectively.The microstructure,tensile strength,impact toughness,and fracture toughness of the welded joints were analyzed to investigate the differences in structural characteristics and mechanical properties resulting from the different welding techniques.The results indicate that the tensile strength,yield strength,impact toughness,and fracture toughness of the automatic weldinggirth weld joint are superior to those of the combined automatic welding process.The tensile strength and yield strength of the welded joints produced by two automatic welding processes exceed 680 MPa and 600 MPa,respectively.In addition,welded joints have good impact toughness and fracture toughness at-10℃,with a ductile brittle transition temperature below-50℃and CTOD values greater than 0.254 mm.The weld microstructure produced by both processes were fine and uniformly distributed,with the fully automatic welding process demonstrating superior microstructural properties.
