Abstract

As a complex and difficult to select zinc sulfide mineral,marmatite has always been a research difficulty and hotspot in the field of mineral processing due to its special lattice structure and flotation characteristics.With the increasing depletion of easily selectable zinc resources,the development and utilization of marmatite resources have become increasingly important.In recent years,significant progress has been made in the research of flotation techno-logy for marmatite,mainly focusing on the development and application of flotation reagents and the optimization of process flow.New activators such as X-45 have shown significant advantages in improving recovery rates,reducing costs,and adapting to complex slurry conditions.A detailed introduction was given to the effects and advantages and disadvantages of flotation processes such as zinc sulfur preferential flotation,preferential flotation sulfur-reflotation zinc,zinc sulfur mixed flotation-reselection separation,and stage grinding stage flotation.The mechanism by which key factors such as pH,iron content,slurry potential,and dissolved oxygen affect the flotation of marmatite was elu-cidated.In the future,efforts should be made to develop more efficient and environmentally friendly flotation reagents and processes to achieve efficient utilization and comprehensive recovery of marmatite resources.
