Abstract
In recent years,many coastal areas have adopted land reclamation as a solution to the shortage of construction land to promote economic development.While this approach has contributed to job creation and economic growth,it has also caused significant soil and water loss,negatively impacting the ecological environment.Through the investigation of the current state of soil and water loss in a land reclamation area of a new district in the Bohai Bay region,the causes of these issues were explored and analyzed.Based on the requirements of ecological civilization construction and the new forms and demands for preventing human-induced soil and water loss,key focus areas and breakthroughs for addressing soil and water loss in land reclamation areas were proposed.关键词
