中华绒螯蟹养殖环境中二尖梅奇酵母的时空分布规律研究
Spatiotemporal distribution patterns of Metschnikowia bicuspidata in Chinese mitten crab(Eriocheir sinensis)aquaculture environments

Abstract
The"milky disease"in Chinese mitten crab(Eriocheir sinensis),caused by the pathogenic yeast Metschnikowia bicuspidata,severely threatens aquaculture productivity.This study systematically monitored spatio-temporal variations of M.bicuspidata concentrations(in CFU/mL for water;CFU/g for sediment)from rice fields and overwintering ponds in Panjin,using selective culture on Rose Bengal agar supplemented with chloramphenicol(50 μg/mL).Results revealed that in disease-affected rice fields,yeast concentrations in water samples peaked significantly in May and September,while sediment samples exhibited elevated levels during February-May and September-November.Unaffected fields maintained lower baseline concentrations,though transient increases were observed in water during October and in sediment during March-April.Overwintering ponds sustained high yeast concentrations throughout November to March,peaking in February,which temporally coincided with milky disease outbreaks.Key factors influencing the distribution included environmental temperature,Eriocheir sinensis biomass,and anthropogenic activities such as harvesting and drainage.Based on these findings,we recommend enhanced environmental disinfection during July-October and post-drainage periods,coupled with optimized water quality management in overwintering ponds,to mitigate disease transmission.These findings suggest that enhanced envi-ronmental management,including disinfection during July-October and post-drainage periods,and optimized water quality control in overwintering ponds,may mitigate disease transmission.关键词
