Abstract

In the Huangcaoxia Structure of East Sichuan Area,carbonate reservoirs in the Jialingjiang For-mation exhibit strong heterogeneity.Target intervals are characterized by poor imaging quality and low spa-tial resolution,resulting in ambiguous reservoir distribution patterns and unreliable fracture interpretation.These challenges hinder the conversion of these reservoirs into a gas storage facility.To address these is-sues,this study employs geostatistical inversion to predict fractured dual reservoirs in the Jiaer2 Submember and Jiaer1-Jiayi Member,enabling fine characterization of reservoir spatial distribution.Ant tracking at-tribute analysis is utilized for fracture prediction.A comprehensive reservoir evaluation is conducted,fol-lowed by delineation of favorable zones in the target intervals.Results indicate that reservoirs are predomi-nantly concentrated in the central Huangcaoxia Structure,with a thickness prediction accuracy of 85%.Reservoir development in the Jiaer1-Jiayi Member is more pronounced than that in the Jiaer2 Submember.Fractures exhibit a northeast-trending distribution,with intensive development observed in the northwestern part of the structural trap.First-class favorable areas are delineated as 11.4 km2 in the Jiaer2 Submember and 13.2 km2 in the Jiaer1-Jiayi Member.Based on these findings,a drilling strategy is proposed:avoi-ding the fracture-intensive zone in the northwestern trap and enhancing injection-production efficiency through high-inclination well drilling.
