"元精"内涵浅议
A Brief Discussion on the Connotation of"Origial Essence"

Abstract
The concept of"original essence"has evolved through continuous elaboration by physicians across dynasties.Huangdi's In-ternal Classic and Classic of Difficulties from the Pre-Qin and Han dynasties laid its theoretical foundation,emphasizing"original es-sence"as the core material basis of life.During the Song,Jin,and Yuan dynasties,physicians further developed this concept,linking it closely with original qi and original spirit,and explored its vital role in life vitality.In the Ming Dynasty,the theory was systematized;physicians like Zhang Jingyue profoundly analyzed the relationship between"original essence",original yin,and genuine yin.In the Qing Dynasty,the theory of"original essence"obtained comprehensive refinement,clarifying the connections among"original es-sence",original qi,and original spirit,and reinforcing its significance in maintaining health and regulating visceral functions."Original essence",stored in the life gate,constitutes congenital essence inherited from parents and serves as the foundational substance for new life.It decisively influences constitution,growth,aging,resistance to pathogens,and overall health.Diseases arising from"original es-sence"depletion span internal medicine,ENT,andrology,gynecology,and pediatrics,etc.exerting extensive impacts on health.Appro-priate lifestyle regulation and TCM treatments can effectively preserve"original essence",delay aging,enhance constitution,and achieve disease prevention and longevity.关键词
