Abstract

In order to enhance the thermal decomposition performance of ammonium perchlorate(AP),and mitigate the mi-gration of ferrocene within the propellant,three distinct materials were synthesized:graphene oxide bonded to ferrocene nitrile oxide via externallyconnected double bonds(GO-DETA-NFC),reduced graphene oxide bonded to ferrocene nitrile oxide via externally connected double bonds(rGO-DETA-NFC),and graphene oxide directly bonded to ferrocene nitrile oxide(NFC@GO).The synthesis leveraged the unique bonding characteristics of nitrile oxide with double bonds and the exceptional thermal and mass transfer properties inherent to graphene materials.The structures,thermal stability,electron transport capability and thermal decomposition catalytic property were conducted using fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR),X-ray photoe-lectron spectroscopy(XPS),thermogravimetric analyzer(TGA),cyclic voltammetry(CV)and differential scanning calorimetric(DSC).The results revealed that,compared to GO-DETA-NFC and rGO-DETA-NFC,the NFC@GO exhibits higher thermal sta-bility and better electron transport capability.Notably,the addition of NFC@GO at a mass fraction of 5%demonstrated the most significant promotional effect on AP thermal decomposition,reducing the thermal decomposition peak temperature of AP from 402.0℃ to 343.6℃.Furthermore,all three materials exhibited excellent anti-migration properties.Among them,NFC@GO stands out as a superior choice for its simple preparation process,cost-effectiveness,and outstanding catalytic perform-ance.
