Abstract
This article summarized Professor Zhang Farong's clinical experience in treating thyroid nodules.Professor Zhang attributes the pathogenesis to prolonged emotional disturbances,such as anxiety and depression,which lead to liver Qi stagnation,phlegm-Qi obstruction,and phlegm-blood stasis.These pathological factors obstruct the thyroid,resulting in the formation of nodules.The treatment focuses on soothing the liver and regulating Qi,harmonizing the liver and spleen,resolving phlegm,dissipating nodules,and activating blood circulation,supplemented by psychological counseling to relieve emotional disturbances.In clinical practice,Professor Zhang developed the Jiajie Gao,a paste-type TCM prescription for thyroid nodules,which has demonstrated good clinical efficacy.His approach to syndrome differentiation and formula prescription is worthy of study and wider application.关键词
