Refined nursing care in the operating room for robot-assisted radical prostatectomy based on quality control circle activities

Abstract
Objective:To construct a refined operating room nursing model for robot-assisted radical prostatectomy(RARP)based on quality control circle(QCC)activities,and to analyze its intervention effect.Methods:144 patients who underwent RARP at our hospital from November 2022 to November 2023 were selected and randomly divided into the observation group(n=72,receiving QCC-based refined nursing care)and the control group(n=72,receiving conventional nursing care).Perioperative outcomes,urinary incontinence status,quality of life,and postoperative complications were compared between the two groups.Results:The observation group showed earlier first ambulation time,first defecation time,and first exhaust time,along with reduced intraoperative blood loss and hospitalization costs compared to the control group(P<0.05).Scores on the International Consultation on Incontinence Questionnaire-Short Form(ICI-Q-SF)at 7 days,15 days,and 1 month postoperatively were lower than preoperative scores in both groups,with the observation group showing significantly lower scores than the control group(P<0.05).Postoperative scores on all domains of the 36-Item Short Form Health Survey(SF-36)increased in both groups compared to those before surgery,and the observation group had higher scores than the control group(P<0.05).The total incidence of complications was lower in the observation group(P<0.05).Conclusion:The QCC-based refined nursing model for RARP in the operating room can significantly improve surgical management and nursing quality,enhance patients'quality of life and satisfaction,which is worthy of clinical application and promotion.关键词
