"Six Must-Adheres":The Fundamental Principle for State-Owned Venture Capital to Answer the"Unicorn"Question

Abstract
In the process of Chinese modernization,self-reliance and strength in high-level science and technology is critical to China's well-being.From the"unicorn"question of general secretary Xi Jinping to the call of the third plenary session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China for"better leveraging the role of government investment funds and developing patient capital",state-owned venture capital has been entrusted with the important mission of investing in and incubating unicorn enterprises."Six Must-Adheres"is the condensation of the essence of the Marxist theory in China,in the current"counter-cyclical"investment market,it is necessary to deeply grasp the worldview and methodology of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era.To adhere to putting the people first,we must adhere to the leadership of the Party,focus on the well-being of the people,and promote the appreciation of state assets.To adhere to maintaining self-confidence and standing on our own feet,we must cultivate confidence in values,state-owned enterprises and industries.To adhere to upholding fundamental principles and breaking new ground,we must promote the innovation of the"science and technology-industry-finance"system based on the national strategy,the source of science and technology innovation,and the actual needs of enterprise growth.To adhere to adopting a problem-oriented approach,we must focus on post-investment services,institutional systems,and state-owned assets supervision.To adhere to applying systems thinking,we must build the ecology of science and technology innovation,industry ecology and financial ecology.To adhere to maintaining a global vision,we must cultivate innovators who support the development of the science and technology innovation industry,pioneers who break through key core technologies,and leaders who have a say in rules.We must comprehensively enhance the core competitiveness of state-owned venture capital in the new era,making it a financial lifeline that empowers unicorn enterprises to achieve sustainable and high-quality development.关键词
