Abstract
Objective:To explore the mediating effect of self-efficacy between self-advocacy and quality of working life of female cancer survivors. Methods:From December 2023 to July 2024,a total of 264 female cancer survivors who admitted to a third grade-A hospital in Zunyi were selected by convenience sampling method and were surveyed by using general information questionnaire,General Self-Efficacy Scale(GSES),Quality of Working Life Questionnaire for Cancer Survivors(QWLQ-CS),and Female Self-Advocacy in Cancer Survivorship(FSACS).Pearson correlation analysis, stepwise regression analysis and Bootstrap mediation test were used for data analysis. Results:The total scores of GSES,QWLQ-CS and FSACS were(22.59±6.27),(68.79±11.12),and(73.10±12.58).QWLQ-CS was significantly and positively correlated with GSES(r=0.329,P<0.05)and with FSACS(r=0.123,P<0.05),and GSES was significantly and positively correlated with FSACS(r=0.261,P<0.05).The total effect of self-advocacy on quality of working life was 0.109[95%CI(0.002,0.216)],the direct effect was 0.036[95%CI(-0.070,0.141)],and the indirect effect was 0.073[95%CI(0.034,0.122)].The mediation effect accounted for 66.97%of the total effect.Conclusions:Self-efficacy plays a fully mediating role between self-advocacy and quality of working life in female cancer survivors, and medical staff should take measures to improve patients'level of self-advocacy and self-efficacy,so as to enhance the quality of working life.关键词
