Summary of the evidence for non-pharmacologic therapies on the restless leg syndrome in maintenance hemodialysis patients

Abstract
Objective:To retrieve,evaluate,extract and summarize the evidence for non-pharmacologic therapies on the restless leg syndrome in maintenance hemodialysis patients,so as to provide theoretical basis for clinical nursing.Methods:According to the"6S"evidence model,relevant evidence on non-pharmacological therapies for restless legs syndrome on maintenance hemodialysis was retrieved from domestic and foreign databases,guideline websites and professional society websites,including clinical decisions,guidelines,evidence summaries,systematic reviews,expert consensus,etc.The he retrieval period was from the establishment of the database to October 1 2023.Two researchers evaluated the quality of the included literature,and extracted data and summarized evidence.Results:A total of 16 papers were included,including 1 clinical decision,1 guideline,11 systematic reviews and 3 randomized controlled studies.The 23 evidences were summarized from 8 aspects,including assessment of the condition,general principles,lifestyle,exercise,cool dialysate,aromatic massage,spreading moxibustion at governor vessel,near-infrared light therapy.Conclusions:This study summarizes the evidence of non-pharmacologic therapies for restless legs syndrome on hemodialysis.When applying the evidence in clinical practice,healthcare professionals can combine condition and wishes of patients,fully consider the clinical situation,and formulate individualized non-pharmacologic interventions for patients.关键词
