三色膏介质推拿治疗小儿肌性斜颈(肿块型)疗效及安全性评价的随机对照试验
A Randomized Controlled Trial on Efficacy and Safety Evaluation of Three-color Ointment Mediated Massage in the Treatment of Pediatric Congenital Muscular Torticollis(Mass-Forming Type)

Abstract
Objective:To observe the efficacy and safety of Three-color Ointment mediated massage in the treatment of congenital muscular torticollis(CMT)(mass-forming type)in children.Methods:A randomized controlled trial was conducted on 80 children with CMT(mass-forming type)recruited from the outpatient department of Jiujiang Maternal and Child Health Hospital between June 2022 and July 2023.Participants were randomly divided into an observation group and a control group(40 cases each)using computer-generated randomization and sealed envelopes for allocation.The observation group received Three-color Ointment combined with massage,while the control group received placebo(vaseline with food coloring)combined with massage.Both groups underwent treatment for 3 consecutive courses(4 weeks per course).Outcomes included sternocleidomastoid muscle(SCM)thickness and thickness ratio,symptom and sign scores,clinical efficacy,and safety.Results:After treatment,there was no significant difference in the affected-side SCM thickness between the two groups(P>0.05).However,the SCM thickness ratio decreased in both groups,with a greater reduction in the observation group(P<0.05).Both groups showed reduced symptom and sign scores,but the observation group demonstrated significantly lower scores(P<0.05).The observation group exhibited superior clinical efficacy compared to the control group(P<0.05).No adverse reactions occurred in either group during treatment.Conclusion:Massage with Three-color Ointment effectively improves neck swelling,reduces symptom scores,and demonstrates high safety in pediatric CMT treatment.关键词
