摘要
Abstract
Objective To explore the impact of rumination on sleep quality among university students, and investigate the mediating roles of cognitive fusion and experiential avoidance in this relationship. Methods A total of 601 university students were surveyed by using the rumination scale, cognitive fusion questionnaire,Pittsburgh sleep quality index(higher scores indicating poorer sleep quality),and the acceptance and action questionnaire(2 nd version).Of these,587 valid questionnaires were collected. The relevant data were statistically analyzed. Results Significant positive correlations were found among sleep quality, rumination, cognitive fusion, and experiential avoidance scores(r=0.474-0.780,all P<0.01).Rumination,cognitive fusion, and experiential avoidance scores all positively predicted sleep quality scores(β=0.498,P<0.001;β=0.474,P<0.001;β=0.549,P<0.001).Mediation effect tests showed that in the path"rumination→cognitive fusion→sleep quality",the effect size was 0.012 4(95%CI:-0.006 2-0.032 3),indicating that cognitive fusion alone did not have a significant mediating effect;in the path"rumination→experiential avoidance→sleep quality",the effect size was 0.039 1(95%CI:0.025 6-0.057 0),demonstrating a significant mediating role of experiential avoidance;in the path"rumination→cognitive fusion→experiential avoidance→sleep quality",the effect size was 0.031 5(95%CI:0.021 1-0.046 1),revealing a significant chain mediating effect of cognitive fusion and experiential avoidance. Conclusion Rumination not only directly negatively impacts sleep quality, but also indirectly affects it through the independent mediating effect of experiential avoidance and the chain mediating effect of cognitive fusion and experiential avoidance.关键词
