Uncertainty Analysis of Office Building Energy Consumption Based on a High-Resolution Model of Shading Behavior

Abstract
This study examines the influence of modeling user shading behavior on energy consumption predictions for office buildings in the hot-summer and cold-winter regions of China.A high-resolution model of shading behavior was developed,including four types of sub-models subdivided into 11 sub-models through seasonal analysis,which improved prediction accuracy by 7.87%compared to conventional stochastic models.The research further considers user-driven shading operations,indoor occupancy density,and their effects on lighting,equipment usage,and thermal comfort behaviors.Comparative analysis shows that annual energy consumption is subject to significant uncertainty,which is especially evident in the frequently adjusted sub-type C1,indicating a positive correlation between energy performance uncertainty and shading adjustment frequency.Moreover,compared to normative(code-based)behavior models,the user behavior model presented in this study reveals that energy-saving potential is overestimated by approximately five times.关键词
