Abstract
Objective:To evaluate the cosmetic efficacy of Q-switched laser combined with delicate pulsed light(DPL)for the treatment of melasma.Methods:Melasma patients in the stable phase were divided into an observation group and a control group based on treatment methods.The observation group was first treated with DPL in sliding mode,followed by Q-switched Nd:YAG 1064 nm laser treatment on pigmented areas.The control group received only Q-switched Nd:YAG 1064 nm laser treatment.All the treatment interval was 4～6 weeks for a total of 10 sessions.The modified melasma area and severity index(mMASI),physician's global assessment(PGA),and patient satisfaction were compared pre-and post-treat-ment for both groups.Results:Before treatment,there was no significant difference in the mMASI scores between the two group.After treatment,the mMASI and PGA scores in the observation group demonstrated a decrease relative to control group.Additionally,patient satisfaction exceeded that of the control group in the observation cohort.Significance was detective in the between group-comparison(P<0.05).Conclusion:The combination of Q-switched laser and DPL in sliding mode demonstrates significant efficacy in lightening facial pigmentation,improving skin texture,and achieving high patient satisfac-tion in the treatment of melasma.关键词
