Abstract
Objective:To explore the value of selecting cyst scraping and combining guided bone regeneration(GBR)in the treatment of odontogenic jaw cyst.Methods:A total of 65 patients with odontogenic jaw cyst admitted to our hospital from January 2022 to February 2024 were divided into two groups by random number method.Of these,32 patients received curettage alone(control group)and 33 patients received curettage combined with GBR technology(observation group).After treatment,the clinical efficacy,capsular volume,capsular volume reduction rate,capsular area reduction rate,recurrence rate,clinical indicators and bone repair of the two groups were compared and analyzed.Results:The clinical effi-cacy of the observation group was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05),and the recurrence rate of the observation group was lower than that of the control group(P<0.05).The reduction rate of cyst volume and cyst area in the observation group was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).The bone density and thickness of bone hyperplasia in the observa-tion group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).The observation group had higher maxillary height,mandib-ular height,and mandibular width than the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Compared with curettage therapy alone,cyst scraping therapy combined with GBR technology can ensure the treatment effect and reduce the recurrence rate.关键词
