Construction and application of nutritional management plan for oral cancer patients based on timing theory

Abstract
Objective:To develop a nutrition management protocol for oral cancer patients and evaluate its clinical efficacy.Methods:A nutrition management protocol was formulated through systematic literature review and Delphi expert consultation.Using convenience sampling,95 oral cancer patients admitted to the Department of Stomatology between January and June 2023 were enrolled.Participants were cluster-randomized by ward into two groups:the intervention group received the novel nutrition protocol alongside routine nutritional care,while the control group received routine care alone.Results:Re-peated-measures ANOVA demonstrated statistical significance(P<0.05)for BMI,mid-upper arm circumference,hemoglo-bin,albumin,prealbumin,and quality of life(QOL)scores across the three timepoints.At 1-month follow-up,between-group difference in nutritional risk score was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:The evidence-based nutrition manage-ment protocol demonstrates scientific rigor and clinical feasibility.Its implementation effectively reduces nutritional risks,im-proves anthropometric and biochemical nutritional indicators,and enhances quality of life in oral cancer patients.关键词
