血清GDF-15、ADAM10联合检测对2型糖尿病合并颈动脉粥样硬化的预测价值
Predictive Value of Combined Detection of Serum GDF-15 and ADAM10 for Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus Complicated with Carotid Atherosclerosis

Abstract
Objective To explore the predictive value of combined detection of serum growth differentiation fac-tor-15(GDF-15)and a disintegrin and metalloproteinase domain-containing protein 10(ADAM10)for type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM)complicated with carotid atherosclerosis(CAS).Methods A total of 95 patients with T2DM who were treated in our hospital from March 2023 to March 2024 were selected as the research subjects.Color Doppler ultrasound was performed to examine the carotid intima-media thickness(CIMT)of the patients.The patients were divided into the T2DM combined with CAS group(n=53,CIMT≥1.0 mm)and the simple T2DM group(n=42,CIMT<1.0 mm).Another 80 healthy individuals who underwent physical examinations during the same period were selected as the control group.The general clinical data of each group were collected,and the levels of serum GDF-15 and ADAM10 in each group were detected.The correlation between the levels of serum GDF-15 and ADAM10 and CIMT in patients with T2DM was analyzed by the Pearson method.Multivariate logistic regression analysis was used to analyze the influencing factors of T2DM combined with CAS;The predictive value of serum GDF-15 and ADAM10 levels for T2DM combined with CAS was analyzed by using the receiver operating characteris-tic(ROC)curve.Results The levels of serum GDF-15 and ADAM10 in the simple T2DM group and the T2DM combined with CAS group were significantly higher than those in the control group,and the levels of serum GDF-15 and ADAM10 in the T2DM combined with CAS group were higher than those in the simple T2DM group(P<0.05).The levels of serum GDF-15 and ADAM10 in patients with T2DM were positively correlated with CIMT(P<0.01).GDF-15 and ADAM10 were the influ-encing factors of T2DM combined with CAS(P<0.01).The area under the curve of the combined prediction of serum GDF-15 and ADAM10 for patients with T2DM complicated with CAS was higher than that of their predictions alone(P<0.05,P<0.01).Conclusion The levels of serum GDF-15 and ADAM10 in patients with T2DM combined with CAS increase.Both may be potential biological indicators for predicting T2DM combined with CAS.关键词
