摘要

Abstract

"Mengkehong 10"is a medium-maturing conventional variety selected and bred through multi-generational purification using the individual plant systematic selection method.This variety has many branches,short internodes,and strong plant growth vigor,with a plant height of 77 cm and a spread of 60 cm.It has strong fruiting ability and good commercial quality,and it takes about 174 days from sowing to harvesting of red fruits.The fruit is horn-shaped.Unripe fruits are dark green,and ripe fruits are deep red.The longitudinal diameter of the fruit is 14.6 cm,the transverse diameter is 4.2 cm,the flesh thickness is 0.26 cm,and the fresh weight of a single fruit is about 19.8 g.The vitamin C content in the fruit is 165 mg/100 g(FW),the capsaicin content is 5.20 mg/kg,and the dihydrocapsaicin content is 5.79 mg/kg.The fresh pepper yield per 667 m2 is about 2 100 kg;it is field-resistant to CMV(Cucumber Mosaic Virus)and anthracnose,and moderately resistant to TMV(Tobacco Mosaic Virus)and blight.It is suitable for spring seedling cultivation in open fields in the northeast ecological region,such as Tongliao and Chifeng in Inner Mongolia,Chaoyang in Liaoning,Baicheng and Songyuan in Jilin,where the frost-free period is more than 140 days.
