High-Quality Seed Production Techniques for Tuoxian Pepper
摘要
Abstract
Tuoxian pepper is a landrace endemic to Tuoketuo County,Hohhot City,Inner Mongolia.It is a geographical indication trademark product and plays an important role in regional economic development.Characterized by its distinctive aromatic yet mildly pungent flavor when dried,Tuoxian pepper enjoys exceptional popularity in western Inner Mongolia.Tuoxi pepper is a conventional variety,and farmers and enterprises often produce their own seeds.Due to the unscientific seed producing methods and techniques,there are problems in the cultivation of chili peppers in Tuoxian,such as insufficient purity,low yield,deformed fruits,diseased plants,and many diseased fruits,which restrict the healthy and efficient development of the industry.To develop and strengthen this industry,this paper systematically introduces the technical measures for the propagation of the original seeds and production seeds of Tuoxian peppers from such production processes as the selection of seed production bases,cultivation of strong seedlings,field management,pest control,removal of impurities and inferior plants,and harvesting.It is intended to provide a reference for the high-quality seed production of Tuoxian pepper.关键词
