Abstract

In response to the issues of low dumping efficiency,high costs,and severe environmental pollution associated with conventional truck transportation for the lower bench stripping of large open-pit coal mines,this article summarizes the application characteristics of several short-distance transportation technologies,including the earth bridges,no transportation dumping,and transport and dumping bridges.Taking German F-series dumping bridge as an example,the article systematically introduces the components,layout configurations,equipment parameters,process flow,and system layout requirements of the conveyor dumping bridge.The article takes Xiwan Open-pit Coal Mine as a study case to analyze the technical conditions for the applicability of the conveyor bridge in terms of mining and stripping parameters,coal seam dip,and dump site lithology,compares the technical scheme and economic benefits of replacing the existing single-bucket excavator-truck process with a single-bucket excavator-mobile crusher-overburden conveyor bridge system for the 30?m thick rock stripping layer in the lower bench.The results indicate that the conveyor bridge can effectively improve dumping efficiency and reduce production costs,demonstrating clear technical and economic advantages.At the same time,reducing labor requirements and mitigating dust pollution meets the requirements of green and efficient open-pit coal mining,the conveyor bridge has broad potential for widespread application.
