唐代官制中的"调"
"Diao"(调)in the Tang Dynasty's Official System
摘要
Abstract
The term"diao"(调)and its related vocabulary frequently appear in the official selection system and administra-tive practices of the Tang Dynasty(618-907 A.D.).Among these,the term"chang diao"(常调),originally related to the tax system,later crossed over into the official system,marking the original meaning of a series of concepts.Through literature re-view and historical analysis,it can be observed that,as a form of official appointment,"diao"typically refers to initial and sec-ondary appointments and is rarely associated with the third or higher appointments."Diao"denotes non-demotion personnel chan-ges for low-ranking officials,and"chang diao"remains within the scope of the Ministry of Personnel's selection system.Throughout the evolution of the Tang Dynasty's official system,the term"diao"became increasingly generalized,eventually equating with the election of officials and becoming a noun representing the process of obtaining an official position.The use of"diao"and its derivatives in official selection reflects the Tang Dynasty's advanced,professional,and standardized official sys-tem.These characteristics were inherited and widely adopted in the post-Song Dynasty selection system,particularly in the selec-tion of low-ranking officials.关键词
