Design of an Automated Dwarf Blueberry Collection and Sorting Machine

Abstract
There are several technical bottlenecks that urgently need to be overcome in the modern harvesting process of dwarf blueberry industry.The current harvesting operation faces three core problems:firstly,the efficiency of manual harvesting is difficult to match the concentrated ripening characteristics of berries,resulting in rising labor costs and ex-tended harvesting cycles;Secondly,manual sorting has the problem of insufficient accuracy,making it difficult to a-chieve accurate product grading;Thirdly,the existing pneumatic harvesting equipment has technical defects such as high energy consumption indicators and insufficient impurity separation efficiency.In addition,the low mechanization rate of blueberry harvesting in China seriously restricts the large-scale development of the industry.The intelligent harvesting and sorting integrated equipment for dwarf blueberry,innovatively developed in this study,achieves two major technolog-ical breakthroughs through modular design:the harvesting mechanism adopts a simulated screening bucket,which signif-icantly improves the efficiency compared to traditional manual operations;The screening institution integrates a multi-level screening system to achieve complete separation of branch and leaf impurities from fruits and identification of fruit grades,achieving standardized operations throughout the entire harvesting and sorting process.This device integrates"efficient harvesting precise sorting non-destructive treatment"technology to construct a new paradigm of blueberry post harvest treatment technology,which has important engineering application value for promoting the mechanization up-grade of the characteristic berry industry.It is expected that after the technology is perfected,the comprehensive benefits of blueberry commercialization treatment can be significantly improved.关键词
