不同群体长牡蛎形态性状与壳容积的通径分析及遗传参数评估
Path Analysis and Estimation of Genetic Parameters of Morphological Traits and Shell Volume in Different Populations of the Pacific Oyster,Crassostrea gigas

Abstract
To investigate the impact of body traits on cavity volume in different populations of the Pacific oyster,Crassostrea gigas,and the potential for improving cavity volume through selective breeding,we measured the shell length,shell width,shell height and cavity volume of 113,246,53,and 79 oysters from wild population and three selectively bred strains from populations of China,Japan,and Korea,respectively.The results indicated that the cavity volume of C.gigas was improved by selective breeding in different populations.Path analysis showed that the most influential factor on cavity volume was shell height except for the Korean population while shell width had the greatest impact on cavity volume in the Korean population.The regression equation between individual traits of C.gigas and cavity volume was established using stepwise regression method.For China selected strain,V=-19.087+0.248SL+0.216SH+0.506SW(R2=0.581);for Japan selected strain,V=-15.623+0.179SL+0.195SH+0.493SW(R2=0.557);for Korea selected strain,V=-17.359+0.139SL+0.771SH+0.170SW(R2=0.718);for wild population,V=-15.090+0.339SL+0.216SH+0.190SW(R2=0.765).Estimation of genetic parameter showed that cavity volume had very high heritability(0.64),genetic correlations with body traits were high(0.57~0.83),and phenotypic correlations were medium to high(0.49~0.66),which means that cavity volume could be effectively improved by selective breeding.Our findings furnished valuable insights for enhancing the genetic potential of cavity volume in C.gigas,thereby advanced the breeding efforts aimed at developing elite strains characterized by elevated meat yield.关键词
