Abstract

In this paper,the fundamental structure and control principles of a digital valve with displacement feedback are presented.By integrating the characteristics of main valve,a novel electrically controlled LS hydraulic system is proposed.The logic algorithm for flow distribution,which is tailored to the design of the electric control LS system,has been applied to a crane.Experiments and studies have been conducted to evaluate the response characteristics of both single-action and compound-action operations,as well as the accuracy of flow distribution.The results are compared with those of the traditional LUDV system.The findings demonstrate that,under the effective control logic,the new electrically controlled LS system not only retains the rapid response of the single-action closed-loop digital valve but also achieves precise flow distribution even under conditions of insufficient flow,which is analogous to the flow distribution principle of the LUDV system when the flow is saturated.
