Effects of Mechanical Wounding,Latex Flow and Tapping Frequency on Rubber Biosynthesis in Hevea brasiliensis

Abstract
In order to demonstrate the effects of mechanical wounding,latex flow and tapping frequency on rubber biosynthesis in Hevea brasiliensis.In the present study,mature virgin trees were used as test materials.The in vitro rubber biosynthesis efficiency of latex was determined using 13C-MVA as substrate,and the expressions of five key genes of jasmonic acid signaling pathway,HbCOI1,HbJAZ1,HbMYC1,HbMYC2,HbMYC3,and five key protein genes of rubber biosynthesis,HbHMGR1,HbSRPP1,HbREF1,HbHRT1,HbHRT2 in laticifer cells were analyzed by qPCR.The results showed that the promoting effect of tapping on rubber biosynthesis was mainly caused by cumulative latex flow,and low tapping frequency was beneficial to rubber biosynthesis.The results of this study have important theoretical significance for elucidating the regulatory mechanism of natural rubber biosynthesis in laticifer cells,and provide a theoretical basis for designing appropriate rubber tapping frequency in natural rubber production.关键词
