An adaptive braking control strategy and system for stationary front vehicles

Abstract
To solve the unsafe and uncomfortable problems caused by high vehicle speed during the process of adaptive cruise control stopping the vehicle before stopping,an self-adaptation braking control strategy and system of the vehicle before stopping was proposed.Firstly,by analyzing the architecture and control strategy of the adaptive cruise control system,the roles of perception,regulation,and execution modules in the adaptive cruise control process were clarified.A longitudinal dynamic self-adaptation braking model of the vehicle's was established,forming the design basis for the self-adaptation braking cruise control system.Secondly,based on the speed and acceleration control model for braking the stationary front vehicle,adaptive braking control for the stationary front vehicle was achieved by sensing the status of the preceding and following vehicles.Finally,the vehicle calibration test was carried out to test the braking distance and vehicle speed for the stationary vehicle ahead under different calibration parameters.关键词
