Abstract
The Children and Adolescents:Standards of Care in Diabetes—2024 issued by the American Diabetes Association(ADA)focuses on the management of type 1 and type 2 diabetes in children and adolescents.This article interprets the recommendations and updates to the following seven aspects:self-management education,psychological support,dietary and nutritional guidance,physical activity and exercise guidance,blood glucose monitoring,key points in pharmacological and surgical treatment,complication prevention and care,and transitional care for children and adolescents with diabetes.Additionally,it analyzes the clinical nursing implications and implementation suggestions of the ADA Standards,aiming to guide diabetes management and specialized nursing practices in children and adolescents.关键词
