Abstract
Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of thumb-tack needle therapy plus traditional Chinese medicine iontophoresis for post-stroke hemiplegic shoulder pain(HSP).Method Ninety patients with post-stroke hemiplegic shoulder pain were randomized to groups A,B and C,with 30 cases in each group.On the basis of basic medications and conventional rehabilitation,group A received traditional Chinese medicine iontophoresis;group B,thumb-tack needle therapy;group C,thumb-tack needle therapy plus traditional Chinese medicine ionto-phoresis.The Changhai Pain Scale score,the Fugl-Meyer Assessment(FMA)of Motor Function score,the Bathel Index score and the passive range of motion(PROM)of shoulder joint were observed in three groups before and after treatment.Result After treatment,the Changhai Pain Scale score decreased in the three groups(P＜0.05),was lower in group C than in groups A and C(P＜0.05)and had no statistically significant difference between groups A and B(P＞0.05).After treatment,the FMA score,the Bathel Index score and shoulder joint PROM increased in the three groups compared with before(P＜0.05),were higher in group C than in groups A and C(P＜0.05)and had no statistically significant difference between groups A and B(P＞0.05).Conclusion On the basis of basic medications and conventional rehabilitation,both traditional Chinese medicine iontophoresis and thumb-tack needle can effectively relieve post-stroke hemiplegic shoulder pain and improve the quality of life in the patients and the combined use had a more marked effect.关键词
