The Outstanding Values of Beijing Central Axis from the Perspective of Comparative Analysis Between the Axes of Eastern and Western Capitals
本文简要阐述了北京中轴线作为一处世界遗产的历史、地理空间范畴的界定、遗产价值特征,并借助比较研究的方法,将其与印度世界遗产拉贾斯坦邦的斋浦尔、法国世界遗产巴黎塞纳河畔所包含的城市轴线建筑群进行比较,探讨不同文化背景下首都城市轴线建筑群在规划理念与物质形态层面的差异,以深入阐述北京中轴线具有的独特性与突出普遍价值.
This article briefly explains the history and spatial boundaries of the Beijing Central Axis as a world heritage site,as well as its heritage value attributes.With the use of comparative analysis methods,the article compares the site with the urban axis building complexes in World Heritage Site"Jaipur City,Rajasthan"(India)and"Paris,Banks of the Seine"(French),so as to explore the differences in planning concepts and urban forms of urban axes in capital cities under different cultural backgrounds,and further reveals the uniqueness and the outstanding universal value of the Beijing Central Axis.
