The Outstanding Values of Beijing Central Axis from the Perspective of Comparative Analysis Between the Axes of Eastern and Western Capitals

Abstract
This article briefly explains the history and spatial boundaries of the Beijing Central Axis as a world heritage site,as well as its heritage value attributes.With the use of comparative analysis methods,the article compares the site with the urban axis building complexes in World Heritage Site"Jaipur City,Rajasthan"(India)and"Paris,Banks of the Seine"(French),so as to explore the differences in planning concepts and urban forms of urban axes in capital cities under different cultural backgrounds,and further reveals the uniqueness and the outstanding universal value of the Beijing Central Axis.关键词
