摘要

Abstract

Wood drying is a crucial process for improving wood performance and product quality.It is characterized by highly nonlinear heat-mass transfer driven by its multi-scale structure and anisotropy.Numerical simulation makes it possible by constructing multi-physics coupled models to accurately analyze the evolution of drying stress and heat-mass transfer mechanisms,which would provide a theoretical foundation for optimizing drying processes.This paper reviews the research progress in multi-field coupled numerical models for wood drying,focusing on the applications of the finite element method(FEM),extended finite element method(XFEM),and computational fluid dynamics(CFD)in stress prediction,crack propagation simulation,and kiln airflow optimization.It also explores energy consumption control strategies via intelligent algorithms.The research suggests that cross-scale modeling and multi-field coupling analysis are essential for enhancing simulation precision.Moreover,artificial intelligence(AI)technologies can break the dimensional limitations of traditional models.In the future,efforts should be directed towards integrating multi-field coupling mechanisms with data-driven approaches to develop high-precision digital twin systems,thus driving wood drying towards intelligent and low-carbon development.
