摘要

Abstract

When using the direct leaching method to process copper-cobalt oxide ore at a plant in the Democratic Republic of Congo(DRC),excessive foaming occurred,significantly impacting ore processing efficiency.This paper investigates the causes of foam formation and implements measures such as gradual acid addition,sequential leaching,and installation of defoaming agitators to reduce the impact of foam generation on the leaching process.Production data shows that after the oxide ore process modification,while maintaining similar leaching rates,the ore processing capacity increased from 1,200 t/d to 2,000 t/d.
