Abstract

The effect of annealing temperature on the microstructure and mechanical properties of TA17 titanium alloy rolled bars was studied.The experimental results showed that with the increase of annealing temperature,the content β phase increased.After annealing at 750℃~880℃,the microstructure of bar is composed of primary α phase and a small amount of intergranular β phase.After annealing at 910℃and 940℃,in addition to the α phase and β phase,a small amount of secondary α phase also appeared.The tensile strength of the bar annealed at 750℃is significantly higher than that annealed at 800℃~940℃,but the impact performace is also much lower than that annealed at 800℃~940℃.After annealing at 800℃~940℃,the tensile strength of the bar does not change significantly,but the yield strength can slightly decrease with increasing temperature,and the impact performance shows a trend of first increasing and then decreasing with increasing temperature.Comprehensive analysis shows that the bar can achieve good strength and plastic compatibility after annealing at 800℃~880℃.
