加拿大Dover区块M-W组典型砂质滨岸相沉积演化特征
Sedimentary Evolution Characteristics of Typical Sandy Shore Facies of M-W Formation in Dover Block,Canada

Abstract
The identification and the evolution characteristics of sedimentary facies are very important for the exploration and development of sedimentary mineral resources.However,even in the same sedimentary basin,the sedimentary facies are different because of the changes of the paleogeographic locations and paleogeomorphic characteristics.The M-W formation in the Dover block,located at the northern end of the Athabasca oil sands mining area in Canada,is a good research example.In order to further inquiry the types and characteristics of sedimentary facies of M-W formation in Dover block,the systematic analysis of literature data,core data,seismic data and the study method of logging facies,lithofacies paleogeographic,sedimentary facies model and so on have been comprehensively applied.The M-W formation is a set of sedimentary sequence formed during relative sea level decline in the transgression period A typical and complete shore facies sedimentary system has been identified.In the process of sedimentary evolution,the subfacies of nearshore,foreshore,backshore and coastal sandy dune appeared in turn and gradually occupied the main range of the study area.Among them,the nearshore subfacies are dominated by sand bars,mixed beaches and mudflats microfacies near the parallel coast.The foreshore subfacies are dominated by sheet-like sandy beaches,mixed beaches and mudflats microfacies.The backshore subfacies is mainly a large-scale sheet beach microfacies.The coastal sandy dune subfacies are dominated by contiguous beach and beach mud,beach ridge microfacies.Tidal channel microfacies is the channel connecting the coast and the shallow sea shelf,cutting different subfacies and microfacies from the coast to the sea.The M-W formation in Dover block was formed in typical sandy shore facies with excellent reservoir performance.The identification of the complete shore facies and the establishment of its ideal sedimentary model are conducive to re-understanding the development characteristics of its oil sands mining layers.At the same time,the results also provide some support for the development of shore facies and the exploration and development of corresponding mineral resources.Practice shows that it is more convenient to add corresponding subfacies before the name of each microfacies of sandy shore facies.关键词
