Professor WANG Yiping's Medication Rules in Treatment of Primary Membranous Nephropathy in Accordance with Seasonal Conditions

Abstract
Objective To summarize Professor WANG Yiping's medication rules in the treatment of primary membranous nephropathy in accordance with seasonal conditions.Methods A total of 83 patients diagnosed with primary membranous nephropathy and treated with Chinese medicine at the First Affiliated Hospital of Anhui University of Chinese Medicine from July 1,2019 to June 30,2023 were included.A total of 378 Chinese medicine prescriptions were collected and analyzed using the Traditional Chinese Medicine Inheritance Support System(version 2.5.exe)and GraphPad Prism 8.0.Results The meridian tropism of prescribed drugs across all seasons mainly involved the spleen,liver,kidney,and lung,with spleen-meridian drugs ranking first in all seasons.Liver-meridian drugs were more frequently used in spring,spleen and stomach-meridian drugs in summer,lung-meridian drugs in autumn,and kidney-meridian drugs in winter.In terms of the four qi properties,warm,cold,and neutral drugs were predominantly used.Cold drugs were more common in summer,while warm drugs were more common in winter.In terms of the five flavors,sweet,bitter,and pungent drugs were used most frequently across all seasons,with no significant seasonal variation.Regarding functional classifications,deficien-cy-tonifying drugs were the most commonly used in all seasons.The second most frequently used category varied,specific-ally,blood-activating and stasis-resolving drugs in spring,heat-clearing drugs in summer,urination-promoting and damp-draining drugs in autumn,and astringent drugs in winter.Each season showed specific medicinal emphases.Con-clusion Professor WANG Yiping's treatment of primary membranous nephropathy aligns with traditional Chinese medical theories of chronomedicine,emphasizing seasonal adaptation.While focusing on the spleen and kidney as the fundamental organs,he also places importance on regulating the liver.关键词
