Health Functions of Two Types of Renshenzaizao Paste
摘要
Abstract
Objective:To evaluate the health functions of two types of Renshenzaizao Paste.Methods:The anti-fatigue and im-mune-enhancing effects of Paste A were assessed using a mouse exhaustive swimming test and measurement of fatigue-related physi-ological indices,as well as immune-related indices in zebrafish.The anti-hemorrhagic and antioxidant effects of Paste B were evalu-ated by analyzing changes in hematological parameters in mice before and after blood loss and by measuring reactive oxygen species(ROS)levels in zebrafish.Results:Paste A significantly prolonged exhaustive swimming time in mice(P＜0.05),increased blood glucose,liver glycogen,and muscle glycogen levels,and decreased blood urea nitrogen,creatine kinase,and lactic acid levels(P＜0.05).It also significantly enhanced zebrafish macrophage phagocytic activity and increased the numbers of neutrophils,phago-cytes,and T cells(P＜0.01).Paste B significantly improved hemorrhagic conditions in mice,reversed compensatory organ hyper-trophy,and increased ROS levels in zebrafish(P＜0.01).Conclusion:Paste A can alleviate fatigue and enhance immune function,while Paste B improves symptoms of blood deficiency and exerts antioxidant effects.关键词
