Abstract
Focusing on the medium-and long-term energy storage demand and pumped storage layout in Hebei Province,a systematic analysis approach is used to conduct in-depth research on the southern Hebei power grid and the northern Hebei power grid.The results indicate that,by 2035,the northern Hebei power grid will face a power capacity gap of 11.38 GW,but no power gap,and in contrast,the southern Hebei power grid will experience a power capacity gap of 18.79 GW and an power gap of 19.4 billion kW·h.Through comprehensive evaluation,the energy storage demand for the southern Hebei power grid is determined to be 18 GW,while for the northern Hebei power grid,it is 23.5 GW.The reasonable scale of pumped storage is estimated to be 13 GW and 16.3 GW for the southern and northern Hebei power grids,respectively.Considering the factors such as electricity demand and the layout of new energy sources,the pumped storage should be prioritized in regions such as Zhangjiakou,Langfang,Tangshan,Chengde,Shijiazhuang and Xiong'an New Area,which generally aligns with the distribution of resource sites.In terms of electricity price impact,taking into account the system benefits brought by pumped storage in supporting large-scale new energy development,and assuming 12 GW of pumped storage in Hebei Province to support 50 GW of new energy development with an annual utilization hours of 1 500 hours,the comprehensive on-grid electricity price for the"pumped storage+new energy"scheme is estimated to be 0.36 yuan/(kW·h),which is lower than Hebei Province's coal-fired benchmark electricity price.In summary,this study provides references for the planning and high-quality development of new power system in Hebei Province.关键词
