Research Progress of Inner Membrane Mitochondrial Protein in Biological Functions of Mitochondria and Related Diseases
线粒体是具有双层膜结构的半自主性细胞器,是细胞内能量产生、新陈代谢和信号转导的核心.线粒体内膜蛋白(inner membrane mitochondrial protein,IMMT)是线粒体结构所需的一种关键跨膜蛋白,其异常表达、缺失或突变会导致线粒体结构的异常,从而影响线粒体的功能.基于IMMT在线粒体中的生物学意义,本文将从蛋白质输入、线粒体动力学、线粒体自噬、细胞凋亡及相关疾病等方面对IMMT的生物学功能进行系统阐述,以期为通过IMMT调节线粒体功能来治疗相关疾病提供新的视角.
Mitochondria are semi-autonomous organelles with a double-membrane structure central to in-tracellular energy production,metabolism,and signal transduction.The inner membrane mitochondrial pro-tein(IMMT)is a critical transmembrane protein required for mitochondrial structure,and its abnormal expres-sion,deletion,or mutation will lead to abnormal mitochondrial structure,affecting mitochondrial function.Based on the biological significance of IMMT in mitochondria,the review systematically elucidates the bio-logical functions of IMMT in protein import,mitochondrial dynamics,mitophagy,apoptosis,and related di-seases,offering novel perspectives for treating these diseases through IMMT-mediated mitochondrial regulation.
