Analysis of Metabolomic Characteristics of Paramisgurnus dabryanus Under Different Feeding Conditions
摘要
Abstract
Paramisgurnus dabryanus, commonly known as Dabry's loach or large-scaled loach, has high nutritional value and serves as a main food source for endangered species such as crested ibises. In order to evaluate the safety of P.dabryanus as a feed source and investigate the effects of different feeding methods on its metabolism, metabolomic analysis was performed on Dabry's loaches using high performance liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry(HPLC-MS).The results showed that Dabry's loaches contained abundant nutrients, with a total of 680 identified compounds.Artificial feeding with commercial compound feed signi-ficantly altered the metabolic profile of Dabry's loaches, with 139 metabolites showing significant changes, mainly enriched in lipid metabolism pathways.Several steroid hormones including estrogens(estriol,17α-ethinylestradiol,and 18-hydroxycorticosterone)were found to accumulate significantly in the artificially fed Dabry's loaches, while the levels of male hormones, such as 17α-methyltestosterone,1,4-androstanedione,16α-hydroxytestosterone,and 11-ketotestosterone,were significantly reduced(P<0.05).In addition, the levels of γ-tocopherol,linoleic acid, and α-linolenic acid were also significantly increased in artificially fed Dabry's loaches. This study provides a preliminary metabolic analysis of the nutritional value and food safety of P.dabryanus under different feeding methods, hoping to offer a theoretical basis for the development and uti-lization of Dabry's loaches as a feed resource for endangered species such as crested ibises.关键词
