摘要

Abstract

[Objective]To investigate the influence mechanism of different reconstruction materials on water retention and infiltration characteristics of red soil,and to provide a scientific basis for soil and water conservation and degraded land restoration in red soil area.[Methods]Different levels(0,0.5%,2.5%,and 5.0%)of glutinous rice glue and wood fiber were added to red soil.The water content and infiltration rate of the reconstructed red soil were measured using the drying method and constant head method.The Kostiakov,Philip,and simplified Philip infiltration models were used to fit the cumulative infiltration of red soil composites with different contents of reconstruction materials.[Results]The addition of an appropriate amount of reconstruction materials could improve the water retention capacity of red soil.When the same reconstruction material was added,both the stable infiltration rate and cumulative infiltration of the composite soil decreased with increasing bulk density.Among them,J2.5%had the greatest effect on infiltration performance with the largest reduction,with its stable infiltration rate being only 2%to 3%of that of J0.5%.As the content of reconstruction materials increased,the cumulative infiltration of red soil composites first increased and then decreased.The soil infiltration showed a trend of first increasing and then decreasing with increasing reconstruction material content.The Kostiakov infiltration model provided a good fit for the cumulative infiltration change over time.[Conclusion]The increase in the content of reconstruction materials and bulk density reduces water loss in red soil composites,and the addition of an appropriate amount of reconstruction materials enhances the water retention capacity of red soil.
